Our stands only contact your instrument under the headstock. This contact point is leather wrapped around surgical rubber so there is no risk of damaging the finish on your instrument, even those with nitro lacquer finishes.
Only premium hardwoods are used on Take a Stand instrument stands. We currentlyc offer curly maple, cherry, riftsawn red and white oak, santos mahogany, and walnut. Other woods such as bubinga, claro walnut, and wenge are available on special order.

Each stand is finished as fine furniture. After hand sanding, a sealer shellac and penetrating oil is applied and then fine furniture wax. The stand is buffed for a flawless satin gloss finish.
Take a Stand instrument stands come apart in two sections. They are easily assembled without tools in a few seconds. All of our guitar and music stands are shipped with custom made drawstring storage bags in a double wall corrugate carton for ultimate protection.
Each order is custom made to your specifications. Please allow six to eight weeks for production. If you have a special rush requirement please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
